Universities, R&D Groups and Academic Networks

icSPORTS is a unique forum for universities, research groups and research projects to present their research and scientific results, be it by presenting a paper, hosting a tutorial or instructional course or demonstrating its research products in demo sessions, by contributing towards panels and discussions in the event's field of interest or by presenting their project, be it by setting up an exhibition booth, by being profiled in the event's web presence or printed materials or by suggesting keynote speakers or specific thematic sessions.

Special conditions are also available for Research Projects which wish to hold meetings at INSTICC events.

University of Verona


The University of Verona, Italy, strives for excellence in teaching, research, innovation, and innovation. It has 22,000 students and 1,500 staff, including lecturers, researchers, and technical and administrative personnel. It includes twelve Scientific Departments, ten of which have been awarded and funded by the Italian Ministry of Education as Departments of Excellence, and one School of Medicine and Surgery. It offers undergraduate and graduate programs in eight disciplinary areas: Economics. Education, Philosophy and Social Work, Law, Literature Arts, Communication Studies, Foreign Languages and Literature, Medicine and Surgery, Sports Sciences and Sciences and Engineering. It hosts a PhD Schools grouped in 4 macro-areas: Life and Health Sciences, Law and Economics, Natural Sciences and Engineering, and Humanities. It has nine research centers in scientific, socio.economical and humanities areas, one of them located in Rovereto, TN.
