European Nonlinear Analysis Workshop (ENAW 2017)

The purpose of this workshop is to introduce scientists, clinicians, educators, and students to a variety of nonlinear methods for the analysis of biological time series data. Participants will learn how to use nonlinear methods to analyze real biological data by first learning about the underlying mathematics of each nonlinear method in a simple and friendly way. The workshop includes a strong practical component. Instructors will use class discussions and hands-on practice to facilitate understanding of the material covered in the lectures. Additionally, the participants will have the unique opportunity to discuss their own works/projects in individual sessions with Professor Nick Stergiou.

22nd annual Congress of the European College of Sport Science - ECSS MetropolisRuhr 2017

The annual congress of the European College of Sport Science is organized on 5.- 8.7.2017 in Essen, Germany. The congress theme is Sport Science in a Metropolitan Area, which will be highlighted in the scientific programme, built with great expertise inviting sport scientists around the globe to present their work. As a multidisciplinary congress the target group contains sport and exercise as well as sport medicine experts around the world. The ECSS aims to support the career development of young upcoming scientists and organizes the ECSS Young Investigators Award within the framework of the annual congress. The ECSS YIA is very prestigious award in the field of sport science. Abstract submission opens 15th of December 2016.
