The congress theme is Sport Science in a Metropolitan Area, which will be highlighted in the scientific programme, built with great expertise inviting sport scientists around the globe to present their work. As a multidisciplinary congress the target group contains sport and exercise as well as sport medicine experts around the world. The ECSS aims to support the career development of young upcoming scientists and organizes the ECSS Young Investigators Award within the framework of the annual congress. The ECSS YIA is very prestigious award in the field of sport science. Abstract submission opens 15th of December 2016.

ICSEMIS 2016

This year, Brazil will host two of the most important multsport events, Olympic and Paralympic Games. Traditionally, countries which host these events also are invited to host the biggest scientific event on Sport field, International Convention on Science, Education and Medicine in Sport – ICSEMIS.
Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) was chosen by the international Federation of Sports Medicine (FIMS), International Paralympic Committe (IPC) and the International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education (ICSSPE) to organise ICSEMIS 2016.
The third edition will be held at Mendes Convention Center, in Santos – SP, Brazil, between August 31st thru September 4th, under the theme “Saying Yes to Diversity in Sport”.
This event will bring to Brazil thousands of national and international participants from all professional and academic sectors linked to sport, physical education, exercise, physical activity and sports medicine.
