SCOPE

In the last decade there was a wealth of technological developments that imposed remarkable changes in performance analysis research and practice. The advent of such technologies radically challenged the practices of scientists and practitioners involved in professional soccer. Current challenges on this topic include i) how to maximize the technological potential into meaningful and effective information and, ii) how can new technologies enhance the way we analyze and interpret data.
This Special Session will join both researchers and practitioners from professional soccer showing how technology is being integrated and is changing the current practices in performance analysis field.
We invite submissions from all over the world on topics related to performance analysis in soccer, especially (but not limited to) in the current challenges that technology is placing to science and applied performance analysis in soccer.
